Cancellation policy

The amount of your refund is determined by the date that you notify Dalyan.travel (Kaunos Tours) of your cancellation.
Cancellations fees apply as follow:
- 15 or more days prior to check-in date: amount of deposit
- 7-14 days prior to check-in date: 50% of the booking fee
- 0-6 days prior to check-in date: bookings fee
- "No-Show" or stopping the tour pre-end date: bookings fee
Birdwatching in South West Turkey
Bird watching in Turkey will be a unique experience. A large diversity of migratory and non-migratory birds are to be found in Turkey. The turkish range of different ecosystems and positions makes it an important spot for many birds and therefore birdwatchers.
This tour will first host you for a few days in the wonderful area of Dalyan a rich green area with mountains, rivers and lakes. With Dalaman airport only a 30-minute drive away, it is a good place to start.
In Dalyan the rivers beds, ancient city of Kaunos, amber forests of Koycegiz and the high plateau of Agla will be visited. Here you can see the Kingfisher, Ducks, Herons, White Stork, Syrian Woodpecker and more.
A 2-day trip to a more Northern part of Turkey takes us to Lake Bafa, known for its flamingos, different landscape and hidden culture. A small family pension takes care of us, hot water for tea & several types of fresh herbal teas and coffee is always available. Great dinners will complete our intensive day tours. There are around 250 bird species to be found including White tailed Eagles and Dalmatian Pelicans.
The last day of this special birdwatching tour is high up in the mountains behind Fethiye. A two hour drive brings us to Seki where we start with our birdwatching activities. You can spot the Snowfinch, Finsch's Wheatear, Red-fronted Serin and many more species.
Day 1: Arrival in Dalyan
Day 2: A boat will take us in the wetlands and Delta of Dalyan. A short visit to the beach and on our way back to Dalyan we take a walk through the ancient city of Kaunos.
Day 3: A short drive to the Amber forrests of Koycegiz which are close to wetlands. After our local lunch in Koycegiz we travel on to Agla a small village at 1800 feet.
Day 4: Early wake up to leave on time to lake Bafa, a 3 hour drive will take in this unique location with more then 250 bird species. In the afternoon we have a walk in the area around the pension and along the lake.
Day 5: The whole day will be spent in the Meander Delta which has rich varieties of bird species.
Day 6: In the morning we either have another walk around the village near the lake or take a boat to go to some different bays. Drive back to Dalyan in the afternoon.
Day 7: A long day in the mountains of Erces, a high plateau area around a 2 hour drive from Dalyan. Many special birds can be seen here.
Day 8: Say goodbye or extension of your stay.
