This special package gives an introduction in the Lycian Way. The track will take you into the mountains where the Lycians have lived thousands years ago. You will have stunning views over the Mediterranean, visit small villages, meet the locals, swim in the crystal clear waters of the Med and enjoy the quiet and tranquille environment.

Itinerary as below:

Day 1: Arrival at Dalaman airport, transfer to hotel in Dalyan.

Day 2: Trekking to the bay of Ekincik.

After crossing the river we follow the road along the Rocktombs and the Ancient City of Kaunos. This path will take us to the small village of Candir where it feels like the clock has stopped ticking for more then 30 years. From the village we head in the forrest and will follow the goat paths leading along the coastline, olive grooves enjoying a welcome cool breeze from the sea. Finally we descend to the bay of Ekincik where we have time to swim and will board the small fishing boat. Lunch is prepared on board and in a different bay there is more time to swim & snorkel. Sailing back to Dalyan at the end of the day you can see the route you have walked through the mountains.

Day 3: Hisaronu - Faralya

Early departure Dalyan, drive to the start point of the Lycian Way. With only the daypacks the walk will start just above OluDeniz. Walking up the hill you will have fantastic panoramic vieuws over the blue lagoon. Reaching a height of 2000 M where you can watch the paragliders starting their glide from the Baba mountain. The track ends in Faralya which is just above the butterfly valley. We will spend the night in a small pension.

Day 4: Faralya - Kabak

Today will be an easy day. A half day track through villages and forrest down to the sea and quiet pebble beach in Kabak village. The afternoon is for yourselfs, either to spend on the beach, swim, do yoga or meditation in the special areas in the forrest overlooking the Mediterranean. A basic location will host us today.

Day 5: Kabak - 7 Burun

Leaving the beach behind us we walk up in the wild forrest beghind Kabak village. Lunch will be joined by a family in Alinca village at an height of 2000 feet. The afternoon the track will lead us high along the coast to the mountain village 7 burun (7 capes). There is a jaw dropping panoramic view over the Mediterranean and several capes. In the village we will be hosted by a local family on their house.

Day 6: 7 Burun - Gavurali

Last day on the Lycian trail, short walk where we follow an old Roman path and will see some ruines from the Lycian period, Sydma. In the small village of Gavurali the bus is waiting for us to take us back to Dalyan.

Day 7: Free day

You can just relax but also there are many more activities you can do such as the 12 Islands tour, seakayaking, mountainbiking and many more. Ask your guide for more information.

Day 8: Departure or extension of your stay in Dalyan/Turkey/Greece.
