Pick up at 09:00 from your accommodation in Dalyan. Make sure you bring with you a plastic bag, camera, spending money for your drinks, sun and dust protection.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation can be made at least 48 hours (2 days) before departure date of the tour. No charges will be made.

In case of a cancellation shorter than 48 hours an amount equal to 30% of the total fee will be charged.

Children policy

Children are more than welcome.

Dalyan Jeep Safari

This is one of the longest and most fun safaris in the region. Enjoy many laughs as you bounce and bump along Dalyan's dirt tracks taking in the beauty of the sun drenched mountains, rivers and seas.

See the whole area in just one day, not just riding around in a jeep, we also have time to swim, walk and enjoy a delicious lunch and much more. Make sure you have packed your camera and towel, wear a hat, sunglasses and sun cream and off you go on an adventure of Dalyan and the surrounding area. The Dalyan Jeep Safari takes you to see some of the best panoramic views over the delta...not to be missed. All jeeps are driven by professional drivers.


Itinerary

Around 9am a 4X4 jeep will pick you up from your accommodation. After a short introduction the action and adventure of the day begins. All of our jeeps are secured with seatbelts and come with experienced drivers so that you can enjoy the best of the day.

We begin our day passing through many small villages and spotting some tortoises on the road before turning onto the dirt roads leading further into the rural areas. Old houses and mosques from the Ottoman Empire are still visible here, life is still easy going. Passing the lake of Koycegiz your guide will tell you more about the rich history of this area. We will keep on moving up into the mountains to the freezing cold spring water of the Yuvarlak River. Your guide will take you for a short walk to the start of the spring; BE WARNED it is wet and cold!

We will take some time to refuel our energy supplies with a hearty four course lunch. We will have this ready for you at a restaurant along the river. Lunch will include salad and, of course, fresh trout along with meat and vegetarian meals available.

After lunch the real off road adventure begins through the forest, rivers and finally back to a more stable road which will lead us to the home of a Turkish family where we have a cup of tea. You can explore the small family run farm and see daily Turkish life in a small village.  

The day wouldn't be complete if we didn't stop to see the sea; we will take a narrow dirt road that leads us to the hidden Asi Beach where we have an hour to swim, sunbathe, have a drink or just relax and enjoy.

If the day has not been exciting enough, the best best part is yet to come so get your cameras ready as we traverse some more off road trails to the highest top of the area. From here you have the best panoramic views over the Dalyan Delta, Turtle Beach and with clear weather you can even spot the Island Rhodes.  

We are sure you will be impressed with all that you have seen today as you arrive back in the resort around 17:30.
